thats what i hear pretty much all day long. thats Levi telling me he's hungry. "ok", i tell him, "you're hungry? what do you want?" "cookies" (of course)
it doesnt matter what time of day, or how many he's already had, he's ALWAYS hungry for cookies. and whenever i mention breakfast, lunch or dinner, he always wonders if we're having cookies.
"how about _____ "
"no"
"oooh you could have ____ "
"no"
"then what do you want"
"COOKIES"
eventually we come to some sort of a compromise. and lucky for me, there are alot of non-cookie things that he thinks are cookies. like wheat thins. i'm sure he thinks that he has somehow outsmarted me. and maybe he has...
in other news: now that we have been in Florida for 2 years, and bought a house, we decided maybe its time to get connected with our church of over 15000 members. so we joined a LifeGroup on Sunday mornings. Every hesitation we had before now seems kind of silly. Everything worked out well, and we are with a great group of people. They are all a bit older than us, since its a group for young parents, and most dont have a baby when they are 21 (on purpose) like i did. But they treat us like adults and we really like them all. Its nice to have something like that in my life again. Also next week Monday I am starting in Mom-to-Mom bible study. can't wait!

We used to call Kayla the cookie monster...even had her saying it in the "cookie monster" voice :) it was such a cute age! Glad to see you connected at your church and that the group you were placed in is a good one. The feeling of wanting to be treated like a grown up was one of the many reasons we left our home churches when we got married and found our own church. Miss you!
